The last several months have been very distracting for me. A combination of too much on my plate and being served an unexpected side dish has thrown me for a loop. I have been bemoaning the fact that I haven’t been sharing enough of my photography. It makes me thing that those few “fans” I have are asking what I have been doing lately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was going to share some favorite images taken over the last year. I started to flip through my catalog and realized that would be a lot of material. To be honest, it was rather startling how much material I’ve created that I haven’t taken the opportunity to share. You may have seen them shared by others, but I have been lax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Have I Been Shooting Lately?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My usual, chaotic fare: Models, products, fashion, and wildlife. For this post, I’ll focus on the work I’ve done with models. As image competition time rolls around, I wanted to focus on portraits. Several wonderful people obliged. When I first started shooting, I was sure I never wanted to do portraits. Now, it is my bread and butter. I love the wide array of individuals I get to meet!<\/p>\n\n\n

    Why Haven’t I Been Sharing More?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Time is the great enemy. More importantly, it is that nagging feeling I always have that no one really cares what I am creating. It is the eternal lament of the artist, I suppose. Well, at least it is for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I keep telling myself that I just need to make time. But, even as I write these words, I have a laundry list of things to do before my next shoot. And the shoot after that. Then there are the dozens of things I want to do for which I can’t find the time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
